Holiday Coffee Recipes and Valentus!
SUGAR FREE OPTION
2 cups vodka ( 80 proof)
2 cups water
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons instant coffee powder
sugar substitute (10 packets)
1 Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan.
2 Cook until all dissolved.
3 Let boil a couple of minutes, leave a cover on pan/remove from heat and let sit at room temperature.
4 Add sweetener.
5 I store in refer.

If you haven’t tried it yet, don’t fret. You can easily try some recipes at the nearest bars. Of course, it is always more fun to mix for yourself and Kahlua is available in most stores.
If you can’t find Kahlua anywhere, you can try making your own. Just simmer together 3 cups of sugar, a quart of water and ten to twelve teaspoons of coffee (any kind of coffee will do, even instant) for an hour and a half. Let the mixture cool before adding 3 cups of vodka and 3 teaspoons of vanilla. You can pour the whole brew in a bottle and let it age or you can drink it up right away.
Caffeine Attack Recipe: Put 4 scoops of coffee flavored ice cream (feel free to make your own ice cream) in a blender with some Kahlua (add as much as you like) and mix it til the ice cream is drinkable. Pour it into a beer mug and enjoy!

Kahlua and Pumpkin Spice Coffee
With adding a Touch of Pumpkin Spice to Your Kahlua, Voila an refreshing coffee with a hint of Pumpkin Spice Kahlua!

– 4 parts hot black coffee
– 1 part Kahlua Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
– ½ part vodka
– 1 part milk
– Whipped cream
– Ground cinnamon
– In a coffee cup, pour coffee, Kahlua, vodka and milk. Stir well with a spoon.
– Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

Frozen coffee cubes with Kahlua
Make coffee. Add sugar and cream, if you use them. Pour into ice trays. Freeze. Remove from ice trays, drop into cocktail glasses and top with Kahlua or your choice of coffee liqueur. Heck, it’s good. And it’s such a great drink to serve when entertaining because it’s just like serving drinks with ice cubes. Here’s how to make a large batch of frozen coffee cubes with Kahlua without interrupting your time with your guests too much.
Fill several ice trays with cooled coffee. I added sugar and creamer while the coffee was hot to make sure everything dissolved completely. If you like your coffee black, skip the sugar and creamer part. Freeze the coffee overnight.
The next day, before your guests arrive, twist the ice trays and drop the frozen coffee into a large container that can fit in the freezer. Cover the container and return to the freezer until needed.
When ready to serve, ice tongs to transfer four to five frozen ice cubes into each glass. Pour in the Kahlua.
