Make a WATERMELON SMOOTHIE!🍉

I found this delicious Watermelon recipe in one of my Health and Wellness groups I’m following! Looks delicious, and been known to help with Headaches!

The easiest way to cure a headache is not an aspirin but hydration, which is where this cheery pink beverage comes in. Watermelon is 90% H2O, so sipping on a glass of it helps take the edge off.

Ingredients:
1½ cups Watermelon (seedless or remove seeds)
1 frozen banana
1 apple, peeled and cored
¾ cupThick Greek Yoghurt
Organic honey

Purée watermelon in blender or food processor.
Strain with a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.
Add strained watermelon juice back into the blender.
Add the other ingredients.
Blend well 👌🏻

Flour is a common ingredient in many foods, including breads, desserts and noodles. It’s also often used as a thickener in sauces and soups.

Most products are made from white or wheat flour. While unproblematic for many, people with celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity or those avoiding gluten for other reasons should not consume these two types of flour.

Fortunately, there are a variety of gluten-free flours on the market, each with a different taste, texture and nutrient composition.

Parmesan Roasted Zucchini
Prep Time: 15-20 minutes | Cook Time: 20-25 minutes | Serves: 4

Ingredients:
Coconut oil spray, as needed
6-8 zucchini, cut into ¼” thick strips lengthwise
2 eggs, whisked
1 cup Parmesan cheese, finely shredded
1 cup almond flour
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
Italian seasoning, to taste

Optional for serving: meat marinara, tomato sauce, pesto, etc.
Directions:
1.) Preheat the oven to 400° F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and spray them with coconut oil spray. Whisk two eggs and pour onto a large plate. On another large plate, mix the almond flour, Parmesan and seasonings.
2.) Take a slice of zucchini and dip it in the egg, then dredge both sides of it in the Parmesan mixture. Place on the baking sheet and continue with the rest of the slices.
3.) Place the sheet pans in the oven and bake until golden brown on both sides, about 20-25 minutes. While they are in the oven, heat or make the sauce. Serve on top of the zucchini slices, with freshly grated Parmesan and other sides of choice, if desired.
