Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 10-15 minutes | Serves: 4
1 tablespoon organic avocado oil, divided
1½ pounds organic grass-fed ground beef
¾ cup organic cheddar cheese, shredded
4 ounces organic uncured bacon, diced
1 teaspoon organic garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper, to taste
Optional for serving: Lettuce wraps, tomato, pickles, onion, etc.
1.) Pulse the chopped bacon in a food processor, then add into the ground beef. Mix in the cheese and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix well to incorporate.
2.) Shape into 4 even patties, about ¾” thick. Heat up the other tablespoon of oil in the large skillet and add the patties. Cook on medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side. Done whenever the desired doneness is reached.
Serve with lettuce wraps and your choice of toppings and sides.
