HAMBURGER GRAVY AND MASHED “POTATOES”
For those who love meat and potatoes, but are watching what they eat, here is a low carb meal the whole family will enjoy!
Hamburger Gravy and Mashed Potatoes1 pound ground beef
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
2 tablespoon onion, chopped
3 ounces mushrooms, minced, about 8 small
1/2 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 1/2 bags frozen cauliflower, 24 ounces
1/2-1 teaspoon xanthan gum, optional*
Brown the hamburger, celery and onion in a large skillet; drain the fat. Add the minced mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook until the mushrooms are tender. Add the broth and cream; bring to a boil. Simmer until the liquid has reduced by half and thickens. Season to taste. Meanwhile, cook the cauliflower until very tender, about 8 minutes; drain well. Mash and add some butter; season to taste. Serve the meat sauce over the cauliflower or just mix it all together.
Makes 5 servings
* You can thicken the gravy with xanthan gum rather than reduce it until thick. The end result will be nice and saucy. After stirring in the broth and cream, bring it to a boil, then sprinkle lightly with some of the xanthan gum, about 1/2 teaspoon at a time, and quickly stir in. Repeat until all of xanthan is mixed in. Let simmer a few minutes to thicken. Season and continue with the recipe as directed above.
Per Serving: 321 Calories; 24g Fat; 19g Protein; 9g Carbohydrate; 4g Dietary Fiber; 5g Net Carbs

BRUSCHETTA CHICKEN WITH ZUCCHINI NOODLESSkillet bruschetta chicken with spiralized parmesan zucchini noodles is a healthier version of classic Italian comfort food. Fresh and simple with a burst of flavor!

INGREDIENTS

2 roma tomatoes seeded and cut into 1/4-inch dice

2 teaspoons garlic minced

4 leaves basil thinly sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil plus 1 teaspoon

8 cups zucchini cut into noodles (about 4 large)

1tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
1teaspoon minced parsley

1pound boneless skinless chicken breastscut in half

4ounces fresh mozzarella cheese sliced into 1/4-inch thick pieces

INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bowl combine diced tomatoes, one teaspoon minced garlic, one teaspoon olive oil, sliced basil, and salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

Cut each zucchini into noodles using a spiralizer or into 1/8-inch thick long strips.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large saute pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, add one teaspoon garlic and saute for 30 seconds.

Add the zucchini noodles and saute for 5 minutes, until just tender. Add in 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, one teaspoon parsley and toss to combine. Taste the noodles and season with salt and pepper as needed.

Slice each chicken breast in half to create two thinner pieces. Season each side lightly with salt and pepper.

Turn off heat and set aside, keeping warm until ready to serve.
Heat one tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.

Once hot, add the chicken to the pan and cook for 3 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and cook the other side for 3 minutes or until no longer pink in the center.

Reduce heat to low, top each piece of chicken with a slice of mozzarella cheese and cover for 1 minute to allow the cheese to melt.
To serve divide the noodles evenly among 4 bowls. Add chicken and top with bruschetta. Enjoy!

So….Here ya have it!  Here are a couple of pics to show the difference the Slim Roast coffee has made for me (yes the pic on the right isn’t even the most recent but best comparison I can find and this was even before I decided to become a distributor).

I even took a couple of me in a bathing suit just last week, and I haven’t felt comfortable enough to do that IN YEARS!!!  😬

I started out at 170lbs (that pic was last year May 2016) and today I weigh 138lbs (that pic was in December 2016) and I have a few more to go. 
Just drinking Slim Roast, no changes to my diet (but I will add that I don’t eat poorly, I am an “under eater” meaning I do not eat often enough and I gain weight/store fat for that reason).  No exercise yet either.  Just drinking 1 to 2 cups of Slim Roast a day.  😁

Amazing Testimony!  

Valentus Immune does more than weightloss!  Alyssa can attest to that!So the last two weeks I’ve done a little experiment… eczema has taken over my hands for the last 5 years. Avocado Fries With Habanero Ketchup

More and more we, the public, are looking towards the Healthy Alternative way of life!  That includes, healthy eating!  And everyone loves their fries!  Well here is a healthy alternative for fries that you and your family will enjoy!  Avocado Fries with Habanaro Ketchup!

INGREDIENTS

1 quart oil (for frying)
2 avocados, just beginning to ripen

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

salt

white pepper

2 eggs

1⁄2 cup milk

1 cup breadcrumbs (Japanese if you can find them)

Habanero Ketchup

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium chopped onion

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 small habanero pepper

1 large red bell pepper, seeded & chopped

4 roma tomatoes, seeded & chopped

1 bay leaf

1⁄2 teaspoon allspice

1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon

1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves

3⁄4 cup cider vinegar

1⁄2 cup packed brown sugar
DIRECTIONS

Prepare ketchup (can be up to 1 day in advance); set aside.

Heat oil in deep fryer to 350 degrees.

Cut avocados in half lengthwise and remove seeds.

Carefully slice each one into 4 wedges and remove skin.

Combine flour, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper in small bowl.

Whisk eggs and milk together in second bowl.

Dredge avocados in flour, dip into egg mix to coat.

Coat each wedge in breadcrumbs.

Deep-fry until golden brown.

Drain on paper towels.

Serve with Habanero Ketchup (recipe follows).

Heat oil in heavy (non-reactive) saucepan on medium heat; sauté onion and garlic until onion is soft.

Add peppers and tomatoes; sauté until peppers are tender.

Add bay leaf, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, sugar and vinegar; simmer until mix is very soft.

Remove bay leaf and puree; return to saucepan and simmer 5 minutes.

Add salt to taste, cover and refrigerate.

Keeps 1 week in fridge.
