I figured it all out and I am averaging a loss of 1.6 pounds a week!!  I know for some of you, that may not seem all that great and I get it…we all want to twitch our noses and wake up with a supermodel body, right!?!  Well, let’s be real…it has been a lot of years of living an unhealthy lifestyle and rollercoaster weight fluctuations!!  I finally found what is working for me and I will continue to work towards my goals!  What’s amazing to me is that I get to help other people change their lives as well ❤  If you have tried everything or feel like you have, and still aren’t getting the results you want, message me, let’s talk!  Please, DO NOT give up!!  You are needed and loved, so love yourself enough to get healthy!  Small changes, over time, become habits ❤

Terrific Tuesdays has a fantastic Update with Marci’s Mom…

I would just like to give everyone an update on how my Mom is doing as we have received some tremendous news from her doctor this week & I just had to share!! He says that this is the best health that my Mom has been in for many years & to keep on doing whatever it is that she has been doing, as it is obviously working for her!! She told him about Valentus and he gave her 2 thumbs up to stick with it! She was pleased to hear that she is no longer “Too Skinny”! My Mom has been able to remain off of her anti-depressants & sleeping pills for months now.  Her career has taken off and she has been ranked #1 in sales within her organization, which is something that gives her such a sense of joy & purpose with her life. Before  Valentus, her poor health & lifestyle choices did not allow her to feel capable of working at all. Although the pain from her osteoporosis is still present, it is so much more manageable now & her IBS symptoms no longer surface. Our relationship has grown as their is much less strain on it now & It is such a blessing to see how Mom is able to simply enjoy her life. This has truly been an answer to our prayers & we are so very thankful 💖

Low Carb Jicama Fries!

Jicama Fries

Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 45-60 minutes | Serves: 2

Ingredients:

1 large jicama, sliced into fries

1 tablespoon avocado oil

Smoked paprika, to taste

Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Garlic powder, to taste

Optional for serving: Salad or assorted vegetables of choice.

Directions:

1.) Preheat the oven to 400°F and line 1-2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Place the sliced jicama in a small saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 6-8 minutes, until the jicama is not as crunchy. Drain well.

2.) Toss the fries with the avocado oil and seasonings. Lay out on the baking sheets in a single layer and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown. The pans may been to be rotated every so often to prevent burning.
