Blue-Strawberry Banana Smoothie

 Smoothies can be a great way to detox your body!  They can also be a refreshing drink with lots of nutrients, vitamins and minerals!   You can make a smoothie for a replacement meal, or as a mid day snack!   However you make it, you can enjoy the great taste of smoothies by substituting your favourite vegetables and / or fruits!   Cheers!


1 cup vanilla yogurt or plain if you prefer.
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 frozen banana
5 frozen strawberries
Splash of skim, soy milk, rice milk, almond milk……I used almond milk.
1. Add the yogurt, blueberries, banana, and strawberries into the blender. If you aren’t using frozen fruit, throw in a couple of ice cubes.
2. Add in a splash of milk.
3. Place the blender lid on tightly. Puree smoothie until it is smooth and creamy. I like my smoothies thick, if you prefer a thinner smoothie, add more milk or water and puree for a little longer.
4. Enjoy!
